Creation

Creation & Choreography are a more recent development in my artistic life. I’ve collaborated on and contributed substantially to the things I’ve worked on over the years, but it wasn’t until I came to Portland that I began to consider instigating my own projects.

In June 2023 I completed my first choreographic residency at New Expressive Works (Portland, OR) during which I created “home is far away inside me, right here” — a 20-minute solo work about my relationship with my first home, Florida. I also spent time in the studio with dancers 2023-2024 setting movement to “Wood Works”, an album of Nordic folk songs arranged/performed by the Danish String Quartet, with the long-term goal of setting an evening-length performance to the entire record.

I also maintain a collaborative relationship with peer and friend Hannah Krafcik. Our first public performance was in July 2025 for Ten Tiny Dances in Beaverton, OR.

I’m currently seeking more opportunities to create dance / physical theatre / body-based performance with and on others. If you’d like to work with me reach out via email or Instagram.
